Bremerton Trackday

Wes Tipton's thoughts to finish off the season.

"Rubber driving boots and parkas are the usual dress code for Bremerton in October, but boy, were we all pleasantly suprised on Halloween day. It started as it normally does with rain and wind, but by mid morning we saw some sun, then more sun, then lots of sun, blue sky and rapidly warming temperatures! We even had a rainbow grace our event which you can see right over Bruce and Dave's head if you look closely enough!

The attendance was down, possibly due to the conditions at sunrise, but there were some great cars out there, including that sweet Bimmer, with a decent car count in each of the 4 groups.

I heard rumor of a lunch break costume contest, but with camera in hand I found no such event. I thought for sure Les and Steve would entertain us all with some outlandish, although 'tasteful' duds, but no luck.

The course was the best set-up yet, and everyone I spoke with had a great time!

From the webmaster - thanks to Wes for the picture of my kids in the old white Zcar. It was a good time and as always, run very well.
